FAQs
Q: Can the adapter pair with multiple phones?
- A: Yes, the Module Box can be paired with multiple iPhones, but it can only connect to one device at a time. The Module Box's Bluetooth function automatically connects with the last iPhone that was used.
Q: Why does CarPlay keep disconnecting repeatedly?
- A: Repeated disconnections may be due to conflicts between the Bluetooth records of the car and the Module Box. To resolve this, clear the Bluetooth records from both your car and phone. Wait a few minutes before reconnecting.
Q: Having trouble finding the Bluetooth or WiFi on your Module Box?
- A: Try connecting the Module Box with a different iPhone. If one iPhone fails to connect, reset its network and Bluetooth settings, then restart it. If the issue persists across other iPhones, the unit may be defective. Please contact us for further assistance.
Q: Unable to automatically reconnect?
- A: In some vehicles, you may need to select 'automatic connection' in the CarPlay settings to enable the dongle's auto-connect function.
Q: Experiencing screen freezes, pairing failures, or issues with device recognition?
- A: Please provide your car model, and we'll send you a firmware update to try.
Q: Can I use a wireless adapter in my car?
- A: If your car has original carplay or original android auto, you can use it.
Q: How does the adapter connect to my phone?
- A:The adapter is equipped with both WiFi and Bluetooth hardware. It will connect to your phone via Bluetooth and send WiFi credentials. The adapter will then disconnect from the Bluetooth network and run only over WiFi.
